The Biggest Loser Dish and Workout Mix

Last week on The Biggest Loser, the couples were split up into two teams. After winning a pop challenge, Tara and Laura were able to stay with their original trainer, Jillian. The other biggest loser contestants fate was decided by the flip of a coin. Bob’s new blue team members are Mandi, Aubrey, Dane, Kristin, Cathy and Roger. Jillian’s new black team consists of Tara, Laura, Sione, Filipe, Mike and Helen. The brown team was the only team to be split up and Helen lost the challenge automatically putting her with her new trainer, Jillian.

The biggest loser contestants had a hard time adjusting to their new trainers and even Bob seemed to have difficulty in losing some of his team members. In the end, Jillian’s new team won the weigh in leaving Bob’s team to eliminated one of their own.

Although the obvious best move would have been to eliminate Roger as he is not able to do most of the challenges nor lose large amounts of weight, the blue team voted off the strongest player on the team, Dane. Unless there’s another switch up soon, Bob’s team will be eliminated very quickly as Jillian’s team has the stronger players.

Tomorrow on The Biggest Loser, contestants do find out there’s another twist at the weigh in but what kind of twist will it be? Also on tomorrow’s show, Jillian ‘calls out’ her weakest team member.

Check out the Biggest Loser workout mix that’s shown on the show:

The Biggest Loser airs Tuesday at 8pm on NBC.

The Biggest Loser 7 -No Vicki!

I have to say, it was nice to actually watch the first episode of The Biggest Loser this week simply because there was no Vicki or Heba on my television screen. That alone makes this season a winner. This group of contestants sure seem to be alot more compassionate than the last group. (not all of the last group—just the two mentioned there)

Who could not love the oldest biggest loser contestants ever on the show–Grandparents: Estella and Jerry. When Jerry went down on the first workout, I wondered how he’d ever come back from that, but he did in a big way, losing 25 pounds for the week. Estrella lost nine.

The heaviest contestant ever to be on The Biggest Loser is Daniel, who weighs in at 454 pounds. I would imagine all of America is pulling for Daniel as he seems to be a total sweetheart. At 19 years old, he has alot of life to live yet and I’m sure Jillian will pull out all the stops to help him get that weight off. Daniel lost an amazing 30 pounds in his first weigh in.

The only biggest loser contestant that really got under my skin ( and a few others from what I’ve read online) is Laura, who just doesn’t seem ready for the intense work outs that are necessary on the biggest loser ranch. Her team mate, Tara, was amazing and could go very far, however.  Still, I can deal with Laura’s whining much much better than watching Vicki from last season go on and on about her game play.

In this season’s twist, no one was eliminated but nine of the teams were separated. Nine people were sent home to continue their weight loss journey and they may return if their team mate can remain on the ranch for 30 days. (Doesn’t that mean someone’s gonna get a bum deal?) I still wonder if there’s more to the twist. There are rumors that Kim Lyons may be returning, but no official word on that. Most likely, it’ s just a rumor.

Two couples remained together on the ranch—Blaine and Dane, who won immunity. (Blaine is difficult to like so far, but Dane is cool) and Mike and Ron, who won the weigh in. (Father/son Team who have a good chance at winning if they get through the next thirty days)

Next week, Mr. Zen Trainer, Bob, loses his cool during the last chance work out. Don’t miss it!

Biggest Loser 6: Amy and Heba Find a Roach

Some headline, hmm? Since the Biggest Loser didn’t air last week because of the election, the biggest loser youtube channel had a behind the scenes look at the biggest loser ranch. Amy and Heba find a roach—and their language is horrible !(towards the end of the clip)–All because of a little roach……
