The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick, and his newest gal, Molly, appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show Friday. Jason apologized to fans and says he regrets telling Melissa about Molly on the After the Final Rose show. Molly joined Jason a little later for a very short segment, in which she said this should be the happiest time of their lives but the negative backlash makes it difficult for them to enjoy their relationship. Ellen tells them she’s sure it will either bring them closer or ultimately split them up. Most likely, the latter.

Melissa Rycroft was dumped in front of millions this week as Jason Mesnick changed his mind about his final rose pick. Melissa chose not to be on the final rose part two episode and sent a letter instead. ABC released the statement in full this week:
“Although I could not be here, I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive throughout this process. This has been such an overwhelming experience, and I really do appreciate the support system behind me. This was definitely one of those experiences that changes your life, and makes you so much more aware of who you are and what you want out of life. Strange as it may sound, I am doing really well.”
“I’m back in Dallas, pursuing the teaching thing, and attempting to get my life back to normal (if it was every really normal to begin with). I still have my same life mottos: Live life with no regrets, and keep smiling no matter what happens. I’m in such a good place in my life right now, and I really couldn’t be happier,” she continued. “I don’t regret anything that happened over the past few months; because I know I wouldn’t be where I am today had none of it happened,” she said in the statement.
“I have, however, decided to move on from my reality television days, and get some sense of normalcy back to my life.” “As wonderful of an experience as The Bachelorette would be, I think it’s time for me to move on from my television days, and see what my future holds back in Dallas. I have no doubt it will be an amazing experience for whoever assumes the role, and I wish them the best of luck! “

VH1’s I Love New York star, Tiffany Pollard, sent out an apology to Jennifer Hudson after the recent tragic shootings of Hudson’s mom, brother and nephew. Hudson is now engaged to a former Pollard ‘love interest’ from the show “I Love New York”, David Otunga, known as “Punk” on the New York show. When asked about the Hudson/Otunga relationship, both Tiffany and her mother had less than positive things to say about it and them. Pollard compared the relationship to that of Star Jones and Al Reynolds, as well as Oprah and Steadman, insinuating Otunga was only with Hudson for the fame and money. There was also reports that Pollard made comments about Jennifer’s weight.
After the announcement of Hudson’s tragedy, Pollard put a video on youtube and sent out condolences on her myspace. To her credit, she seems to be incredibly sincere in her apology but I sincerely doubt that was even on Jennifer’s list of things to ponder during this difficult time in her life.
Pollard says about her and her Mom,
“There were some things that had got blown up in the media. It means absolutely nothing. Not true… I’m praying for you. My mom is praying for you. We’re really good people. We just talk too much. I’m sorry for anything that we’ve said against you.”
