Another season of ABC’s hit reality show, Dancing with the Stars, is quickly coming to an end. Tonight, the last three couples, battled it out to earn a place in the final two. Still in the competition are Lance Bass and his partner, Lacey Schwimmer, along with Warren Sapp and his partner, Kym Johnson, and Brooke Burke, who’s partnered with Derek Hough.

Tonight’s competition included a group dance, called the Samba Smackdown, and a freestyle routine from each couple. During the Samba, Lance, Brooke and Warren all brought their best to the dance floor. Scores were close, but as usual, Brooke and Derek took the lead. Scores for the Samba were:

Brooke and Derek scored 28 points.

Lance and Lacey scored 26 points.

Warren and Kym scored 25 points.

The freestyle routine took a different path for each couple. Brooke and Derek chose a “Grease” routine, performing a similar dance to the one Olivia Newton John and John Travolta did in the movie, while adding their own personal touch. Derek did a great job of choreographing the crowd pleasing dance and Len called it the best freestyle dance he had ever seen. They scored a perfect 30.

Lance Bass and his partner, Lacey, took the floor next with a hip-hop routine, which fell just a bit flat for some. Len actually it, which is unusual for him to like any Lance and Lacey combo. Their score for the freestyle was a 27–solid 9’s across the board.

Last but not least, Warren and Kym wowed the audience and the judges with many lifts throughout their freestyle routine. Warren received a 10 from Len for “entertainment,” which makes no sense—he did very little dancing and more lifting than anything. Warren and Kym’s freestyle score was 28.

At the end of the night, Brooke and Derek were on top of the leaderboard with a total score of 58, while Warren and Kym and Lance and Lacey tied for second, each with a score of 53.

Tomorrow night one couple will be eliminated and the final two couples will dance one more dance. That score will be added to tonight’s score to decide the winner of Dancing with the Stars.

Scheduled to perform on the finale of Dancing with the Stars are Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus.

American Idol’s David Archuleta is interviewed by Fox43 where he talks about life after American Idol and his new album that was just released. David co-wrote two of the songs on the album and says there’s a variety of songs included.
