Evel Dick interviews the winner of Big Brother 10, Dan Gheesling, after the finale. Dan asks Dick what he could have done better. Evel Dick tells him when he was going for the ‘entertainment’ factor like the ‘veto roulette’ that it almost blew it for him. (Yep!) Dan tells him he hoped (before entering the house) that there was no one in the house like Evel Dick because he knew someone like him would call him out on his antics. They talk about the emotions of the game taking over the people, the importance of making connections in the house and the endurance competitions.

Ah, this is good. Evel Dick tells Renny how much she’s loved out there in tv land across America —-very good interview.

This year’s eliminations on America’s Got Talent are much different than previous seasons. They’ve essentially been narrowing the field down to ‘half’ each week. Last week the top twenty acts were narrowed down quickly to the top ten. The top ten performed on last night’s America’s Got Talent, hoping to make their way into the final five.

First on stage, was Paul Salos, the Frank Sinatra ’sound alike’.  While I love this man because he just comes across as absolute sweetie on tv, his performance of “New York, New York” last night was one of his weakest performances. Maybe the nerves got to him this time.

Next up was Kaitlyn Maher, the four year old singer, who sany “I’ll Be There”—again, a sweetie, but like Piers Morgan said last night—”Is she ready to be on the Las Vegas stage?” I can’t imagine allowing my daughter to take on something like that at such a young age.

Donald Braswell is an obvious fan favorite as America voted him back in the competition when there was an open spot. Last night he sang “To Where You Are”—an amazing singer, just not my style of music.

Jessica Price takes the stage next but this time she has a handle on her nerves and she settles beautifully into singing, “In the Arms of an Angel” which she dedicated to her Mom. Tonight was Jessica’s best performance to date and I hope she moves into the final five.

Joseph Hall, the Elvis impersonator, is up next and I absolutely do not understand why this guy is in the final ten of this competition. He has no singing ability. I guess it’s his ‘hip ability’ that’s allowed him to get this far. He sang “A Little Less Conversation.” It was forgettable.

Then Neil E. Boyd takes the stage and I have heard so much hype about this guy before the show even started that if he wins, I’ll honestly feel cheated. It just seems hard for me to believe America is absolutely LOVING an opera singer. I have a hard time believing he has that huge of a fan base and again, I’m shocked he’s in the final ten. If he makes the final five, I’ll have to assume he’s simply going to win this competition and that it was ‘going to be’ that way all along.

The Wright Kids sang “ABC” by the Jacksons. Nothing really to say about that except it was okay.

Queen Emily rocked the house with her rendition of “And I’m Telling You”—-she and Eli are the two most talented competitors on this season, in my opinion.

Nuttin but Strings did well but again, I find it hard to believe there’s that many fiddle playing fans out there to sustain them being in the competition and I thought last night their egos were a bit bigger than their act.

Last but never least, Eli Mattson sings an Elton John song and brings down the house. Eli should win this competition based on talent alone. He is the reason I am still watching this show.

This interview with big brother houseguest, Brian, was by cbs2 after the finale. Brian was the first houseguest evicted probably because he played the game too ‘quick’, making a ton of alliances in the first week of the game. Brian says he would have voted for Dan to win if he had been on the jury. He loves the big brother game and isn’t bitter about being the first one voted out of the house.
